sore for english :D

Update: What about MSI Radeon HD5770 1GB, 128Bit, HDMI is it better than gigabyte?

If you are getting it to keep get one with better cooling

Vapor X
MSI Hawk
Asus CuCore

Dont forget to look at Neweggs openbox section (the CuCore one is around $123)

I think all of the 5770s would be a good card (so would the 5750s ) Just make sure to get the 1gig of memory version.

The ones with the better coolers are quieter and run cooler so the extra $ is worth it on the cooler. However its not like the regular 5770 coolers are bad so Im sure whatever card you get you will be happy.

I love the HD 5770's for the price, the power and the low power usage and that 1G DDR5 -BAM- they are a great poor man's video card, that is just the factoid, it's a no brainer if you want to bump up your gpu to more current standards.

But why not get the HD5770 and then use your 8800 as a physics card, that should cover your needs for the near future.....
-------opps just read your card died-

n-ster yea im thinking about those cards too but my budget is very very poor atm, every Ls is hard to get atm, we have here big crysis :shadedshu So atm i think Asus CuCore i can get, faster than those others, so then you accept that Asus CuCore will be okey? It will be silent, and cool and no problems with 2D settings and 3D settings, i mean with 2D when card auto lower mhz to save power and bla bla bla ?!

okey i can get this card for same price as gigabyte - Asus Radeon HD5770, CuCore, 1GB, GDDR5

So this card your recomend for me, and what CuCore means?

I use a pair of those in crossfire (very good cards)

The CuCooler is basically an alum finned cooler with a copper core. It actually works pretty good at keeping temps low, the card LOOKs very nice installed and will perform well for you.

I almost forgot at stock fan settings the cooler is very quiet, if you turn it up to 100% it is a bit louder but no where as loud as the stock coolers on the origional cards
