Was it all of the mods that gave you 25 point infractions? Has this happened on more than one occasion? Did you request an explanation from the moderator who did? You most certainly will not be given infractions for reporting posts that need to be reported. It seems the questions you are asking belong in PM's with mods and admins unless it's some widespread injustice.

You guys really think that is an honest question? You very well know that it was probably a one time thing... and if a mod suggest you report something if it is out of the rules even if it is another mod, what do you expect as an answer?

On a side note, not all mods are perfect, they can lose their temper and do something unjust, they are human, even if we praise them so much lol

I guess you haven't been around a bunch of hooligans and bad apples on forums. I used to be at the stage these mods are at now. I quickly got over it and was awarded the title of Administrator (not on this forum) through the people who considered me fair and strict when I needed to be.

Don't judge a book by its cover. Sometimes, they can be really interesting.

i dont need an explanation from him because it was explained to me by admins.

he flipped out and acted before taking time to think about it.

do we really want mods like that?

and for the record... his thread/post did not comply with the rules that were listed clearly and he was telling me i should follow. hence why i reported it... along with the others.

so getting an infraction based on that is BS if you ask me. he TOO could have worked it out over PM but he chose not to.

Mods who have a personal interested in the subject they are ruling on, should remove themselves from the decision to punish.

With great power comes great responsibility.

I have been speaking with a few forum members over various moderator infractions and have come to the decision that Fit's was not an isolated incident. So, to the mods who have been accused of wrong doing... I will be watching your posts like an Owl on Mice.

I've already been given an unfair infraction, but after PM a senior mod, it was quickly resolved, no hard feelings.

I have suggested a new idea to resolve issues such as these that puts it more in line with a proper checks and balances. If the idea is enacted, ALL moderators will fall into line pretty quickly I think. For situations like Fit has found himself in, it would help immensely.
