Going SSD, which one?

My current decision is this, but if someone knows of a better drive, could you fill me in?

Requirements:
-Fit Win7 (~12GB), Office (~1.4GB), necessary apps like firefox (~1-3GB), plus my steam games (~14GB).
-Not Patriot, or Intel (power requirement claims are ridiculous)
-As fast or faster than a Kingston V series

My friend just got the regular V series (not V+) and the OS still feels very snappy.

Thoughts?

This Kingston is a nice one for its price but take a look at the OCZs also.

P.S. I wouldn't install anything on my SSD except for my OS - read/write cycles decrease.

Well, page file is moving, and I'm not worried about firefox and other apps from lowering it's lifespan.
Just worried about getting the most bang for my buck.

Doesn't the Kingston V+ series have a Sandforce controller?
Iirc, the V+ has the sandforce, and the regular V series has a JMicron controller, is that right?

V+ has something different, a Toshiba controller iirc. I do like mine though

Kingston definitely has no Sandforce ssd's out yet.

Well, Newegg's sale on the V+ 64GB I wanted went away, so I just decided to get the regular 64GB V Kingston.
I looked it up, and the drives with the sandforce controller are way to expensive for my tastes right now.

I'm happy with this, a fresh install of win7 is booting up in less than 30 seconds, apps are starting very fast.

I would recommend a Corsair Nova 64GB, 250/200 read/write speeds, but one just crapped out on me.

Lost a bunch of data and gonna cost me time and money for the rma.
