i was thinking about getting the game, too. after what Wiki said about it, i am having second thoughts about even thinking about the game.

this is what the reviewer said about the game:

Alex Navarro of GameSpot declared that Big Rigs is "as bad as your mind will allow you to comprehend"; later in his review, Navarro added, "Please do not play this game. We cannot stress this enough."[1] Navarro's video review has no narration whatsoever; it consists of in-game footage interspersed with wider shots showing Navarro staring in disbelief, crying, beating his head on a desk and finally exiting the building and lying down in the middle of an alley. In the Halloween video Frightfully Bad Games, Navarro stated, "This game received the lowest score in the history of GameSpot, a 1.0. And by lowest, I mean it can't go any lower. We don't hand out zeros, but maybe we should have for Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing." In GameSpot's "Best and Worst of 2004" awards, Big Rigs was given the "Flat-out Worst Game" award, despite the fact that the game was actually released in 2003. They said that they would use the "YOU'RE WINNER !" trophy as a symbol for the 'Flat-Out Worst Game' award from then on, but by 2005, a more generic logo was used.

WOW. now youre making me wanna go to eBay and look for it, out of curiosity. :wtf:

Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing received unanimously negative reviews; much of the criticism for the game was directed at a lack of collision detection, frequent glitches, its visuals, severe lack of functionality, and lack of a general plotline. As a result, the title is currently regarded as the worst or one of the worst video games of all-time. Despite these criticisms, the game sold fairly well, selling nearly 20,000 copies in total.

My worst game ever is Split Second. I played only the first race and i couldn't play more, because it was that bad. The support for a wheel it just horrible, when i turned the wheel on a g25 it was the same as I would press a key, so its useless. And probably not the last thing, the game is limited to 30 fps. WHAT THE FU*K IS THIS?! Go to hell with this shit. I uninstalled it right away.

Aaaww can't handle it? I finished that game and i must say that i really like it. Ok the lack if AA is crappy and they didn't release ANY patch since release. But i enjoyed it. It takes a while until you get decent vehicles ect.. But for me every minute that i spent playing that game was well worth it. It has 75 vehicles(more than avg racers), biggest world ever in a game. The world is a bit empty but still really fun to just cross around in. And you have the standerd types of landscapes.

It also has better physics than in most racers and especially a great sense of speed. Especially when youre going through narrow gravel roads with trees everywhere at 170 kmh you really notice that youre going fast. And online free ride of course :D.

My first impressions were bad also but i just started playing and liking it as i unlocked new gear (for driver), vehicles, and places

Thats the worst game you have ever played? You must not have played many games, because that games actually entertaining, not the best game out there, but it's a fun game, and 30fps is just fine, didn't bother me at all or anyone else I know, would be nice if it went higher, but not the end of the world. It's an arcade racer also, I used a gamepad rather than a wheel, like ridge racer, couldnt stand using a wheel on that, felt useless.

Why you even tried to play an arcade game with a Sim-quality wheel is beyond me.

True, all I'm saying is I've found all arcade games to be disappointing on a wheel.

Well you can't exactly hate the game because it doesn't have proper support for the G25. I have a G27, tried DiRT 2 first on the G27(dont ask ) and i hated the game... next fixed up my wired xbox 360 controller... and damn the game was rocking!

Nah, you're all wrong.

It's Bioshock 2.

After the wonder of Bioshock, the sequel was like having one of those sneezes that never comes.

Alternatively, Cryostasis - the worlds most boring Physx Benchmark, sorry 'game' (back when i had a GTX295).

I would say truck driver simulator but at least they have a purpose - albeit unknown to me...
