A m8 of mine has connected his PC (with HD5870) to his 40" 1080p Samsung LCD TV but he has horrible black borders on the display. Hes made sure all the resolutions have been set to 1920 x 1080, but still no luck. I did a bit of research on the net and it seems to be a common problem, down to the scaling settings in the ATi CCC. But he cant seem to find the Scaling Options tab in CCC 10.6

Where is it? (LOL)

If connected via HDMI, it'll be an underscan/overscan issue.

CCC - Graphics - Desktop & Displays - Right Click Small HDTV/Monitor at the bottom - Configure - Scaling - underscan/overscan-set to 0%
