I beleive the MSI Cyclone to be a lot cooler (massively finned) and also to some extent quiter due to only 1 large fan being utilized instead of Gigabytes "whirlwind"??? solution (2 smaller fans equals to more noise in theory that is). NOTE: the cards have SW that automatically sets fan-levels according to temps & with the GF104 that runs very cool the noise levels shouldn´t really be a problem.

The Gigabyte is cheaper but cheaper doesnt mean better, only well...cheaper :D
(even though i personally like Gigabyte products).

I can only recommend you to read some reviews & draw your own conclusions based on camparasion charts (biased or non-biased).

I state that all GTX460s are "nice devices" except for a few brands with obscure coolers & various issues (Zotac to name one) so practically no matter what brand you choose you´ll get an awesome GPU for next to nothing in that price/performance range.

Yup I beleive (but not guarantee) that your PSU should be able to handle the load well as long as you dont go for SLI...BTW...Wattage isn´t really the number that states the power of the PSU its how much Amperage your PSU can deliver on the 12v line/s (adding in your whole system in to account , not just your GPU req.) [google & educate yourself is a good tip that I constantly recommend "non-techies" on sites like TPU & IRL]

Lastly come on man 20 bucks (dont be a cheapo :p)

GL m8:cool:

The version from MSI doesn't cool up the memory. The gigabyte does that. I don't know really :))

I think its going to be pretty much a draw as far as noise goes. Here's a review on the Gigabyte and they have an MSI Cyclone 768MB in the test as well. The Gigabyte is about 3 DBA louder, but the MSI Cyclone 1GB is louder than the 768MB (see the reviews here at TPU on the two models). I'd for for the cheaper one - warranty is the same and the construction is comparable.

I could sell the 260gtx for 150$ ( 500ron in my country money ) and I could get the gigabyte ( 930ron ~ 280$ ) or the msi ( 980ron ~ 296$ ). With OC to 800mhz at the gpu's core what is the difference between 260gtx and 460gtx?
Yeah I know my country sucks with the taxes and other stuff...
Is it worth it?
