EVERCOOL Thermal Corp., Ltd., E-commerce is popular recently, not many gaming software companies continuously launch new and exciting games, but also EVERCOOL, the professional and famous computer cooler brand, is going to offer a new notebook cooling pad with "gaming style" named "BATTLE HERO". Its slogan is: "The best cooling weapon to fight back the heat". From functional points, it addresses the issue that gamers may use laptops for a long time and do not worry about heat and high temperatures if they have BATTLE HERO. And from the psychological point of view, BATTLE HERO will remain a trustful partner by your side and give support in the difficult moments.

Gaming style makes it eye-catching and unique. It easily comes to mind that the concepts of "fighting" and "gaming" constituted the vision design style of BATTLE HERO as it also implied by its name. Metallic gray, red and black integrate the artistic conception, and using popular gaming images invokes the sense of identity for gamers. Its' style is completely different to last year's release of Zodiac II and Hawk1. To strike at to fight translates to fighting back the heat and high temperatures. The gaming style is quite eye-catching and unique.

The pure aluminum base is equipped with dual fans to cooperatively disperse heat BATTLE HERO is made of pure aluminum and dual long-life and silent fans that can take the heat from laptops rapidly, stabilize the laptop's operation and provide quiet cooling (16dBA) for users.

BATTLE HERO has two USB ports to connect USB drives, speakers or other accessories; moreover, it also has two drawers on the side for USB cables, USB flash drives and other small accessories. Designed considering the user's need for convenient storage.

The compatibility of BATTLE HERO is very wide; it is compatible with 12"-15" notebooks as well as 9"-11" Netbooks. This summer, the best choice for gamers is brought to you by EVERCOOL. Not because the gaming style design and feeling, but also because of its' competitive price and great quality.

what a gimmick. if they think this product will sell more just because they have pictures of C.S.S figures going down on a knee with an M16 then they better think again.

asside from the added pictures - they dont even let you adjust the fan RPM. I can do that on my Zalman NC-1000. I love my NC-1000.

but saying that. anyone with a few power tools handly can drill a few holes on a thick sheet of aluminium and put in an Antec Big Boy 200mm or 120mm fan to give moar cooling n less noise. adding a fan controller is also very easy. but you probably wont have the extra usb ports depending how confident you feel in your electronic skills n ability to wire up a usb hub. mold/bend the aluminium around a metal pole to give it the curve on the edges where it sits up on the desk, some hot glue or plastic/metal adhesive to secure all the hanging bits down n off you go. probably wont cost you much to build at all. just a little effort.

it could make for a pretty interesting small project. I would have built my own laptop cooler but i dont have access to tools

BATTLE HERO has two USB ports to connect USB drivers, speakers or other accessories

whut? people plug drivers into their ports now? since when are drivers physical items?

Meh. This thing would do nothing but constrict the laptops air flow. As far as gaming it's not useful for me at all. The pic design on it is alright. Better then plain but with laptops being on it. It doesn't really matter what they look like. As long as its functional.

If you really want to beat the heat while gaming. Crank up the ac and wear a parka. lol.

how does this constrict the airflow?? the design is the same as almost 99% of other laptop coolers on the market. do they all constrict airflow too??? I think you misunderstand the function of these laptop coolers.

most laptops have small rubber feet underneath the chassis to stop the bottom of the laptop rubbing against the surface of the desk or whatever your putting it on - in this case, you're puttin it on the cooler. there should be a small 5mm-1cm gap in between the cooler n the laptop. n the cooler blasts cool air where cooling vents are normally located on a laptop - at the bottom of it.

so it doesnt constrict the airflow at all. Cool air still gets vented up at the bottom of the laptop where most of the components sit

Exactly. The placement of the fans is under mine so it would just blow air to the back of the laptop (not into fans push/pull) causing the air to come out from all side from underneath. My laptop has 3 large fans but there placed towards the back and not centered. All my components are separated so no air gets to HDD's/ram The little feet (rubber nubs) isn't enough for mine. Mine runs constantly hot pushing 100c 24/7.

its not supposed to push air directly into the laptop fans, its supposed to blow cool air on the back of the laptop where 99% of all intake vents are. the fans in your laptop still have to pull air through these vents and thats where the cool air the cooler is blasting comes in.

I doubt your laptop runs at 100'c 24/7 as it would have melted by now. my laptop has a thermal cut off point at around 80'c most are the same unless you run a hacked bios on your laptop n disabled the feature.

anyhoo. if your laptop hasnt got vents at the bottom then thats an issue with the design of the laptop. I would still use a cooler but its not going to be as effective as laptops that do have vents underneath

I know people whose laptops shut down per overheating while gaming, so something like this is very useful.
