if all goes well one of friends that have bored my modded Asus EAH5770 Twin Turbo 1GB will buy it, and than i am going to switch to a Nvidia GeForce GTX460 1GB but i don't know which of these three cards i should buy, and how warranty and all that is, can u help me out? :)

First card:
Club-3D GeForce GTX460 1GB

CGNX-X46024 Priced at 298USD / 228euro

Second Card:
Inno3D Geforce GTX460 1GB (Retail)

N46V-1SDN-D5DW Priced at 302USD / 231euro

Third card:
Gainward GTX460 Golden Sample 1GB

426018336-1190 Priced at 325USD / 248euro

my max price is 325USD / 248euro for a GTX 460 1GB and it need to be available in DK :p
and i am planing on gaming Mafia 2 when it comes and using Cuda cores for h264/x264 decoding in MPC, and i will be gaming in 1080p in the future when i get a monitor from UniCare-Support.dk // UniCrap that works. (my new Hannspree HH251HP got 3 stribes not far from the taskbar in Windows 7 even it's only single size and that's annoy me after 3 month trying to get my 22inch replaced of resolution error )

I would say get the cheapest one and slap on a aftermarket cooler if temp is the issue but it all comes down which brand offers best warranty in many cases it might be EVGA and i say EVGA is because they are Nvidia top dog just how ATI top dog brand is Sapphiretech.

Heh, welcome to the 5770 to 460 switchers club :toast: Gigabyte is nice, availability is kinda bad here, but you could buy from germany, like I did. 205€ for the 1GB.

But out of those the CluB3D. Not reference cooler, but same 2 heatpipes and much bigger fins that reference cooler, so can't be worse.

I would say get the cheapest one and slap on a aftermarket cooler if temp is the issue

There are no aftermarket cooler that fit these. Only way one fits if it has custom PCB with rectancle hole distace.

+1 to that. Just got the 768 MB model from Germany and it runs cool. Currently under 50 C at 55 % fan speed OC to 850 /1700 MHz utilised 99% for folding.

The reference cooler is great and you can OC any of them with decent success. Go for the cheapest.

So many brands to make a choice from, however out of those 3 u present here I would go for teh Gainward (Yes I chose that brand on both my latest GPU purchases).

But I beleive you will be a happy buyer whichever you pick.

Also why don´t you put some time to search for & read some reviews about the cards & do some comparing by yourself?, thats how I deciced to go for my Gainward GTX460GS-GLH.

 Thanks for the appraisal man, I came up with my nickname after watching that scene when chong says "it´s labradory, the dog ate my stash" ROFL...& then it was just a matter of scouring the web for a pic/edit it & voila Nick&Avatar.

FYI: I quit smoking that shit more than a decade ago but still enjoy the memories from "the fuzzy past" so my :respect: to you for your statement & I say you have nothing to be embarassed about when it comes to having a weedhistory, not in my eyes anyways...

Cheers mate

If I was choosing Nvidia for my next build, that is the card I would use. You can't go wrong with Gigabyte IMO. :toast:

Good choice there, that's what's coming to me :) Well now they are sold out and I don't know if they held up a card for me. Probably not as I prepaid it and those ordering with COD would get order through sooner :(

For the Visa Electron thing, any store that takes Paypal you can use the card in, as that can be payed with it :)

Awesome dude, great choice as you already have a thingie for Gigabyte-warez (I myself like my Gb-mobo even if its only P35 & I want P45 or better)...seems like I never have enough cash to buy the HW I need (within reasonable limits) though, except for my spanking new GTX460 ofc. :)

OFT: (Old news I know) Any reader who wants to get a clue about how the 460 (768MB) scales in SLI? (I really would like 2 of my card for sure), then head over to Guru3D A.S.A.P!:

Gigabyte FTW! :) I will prolly go for a Gigabyte mobo when I upgrade to Corei7...I have good experiences with a few ASUS mobos too, but I find Gigabytes mobos more sexy :)

hi.

i have the gb gtx 460 with 1gb and must say, its a really good and really quiet card.
im glad to have sold my msi hawk and spend my money for the gtx 460!

but atm there some problems with dcp latency in idle state and bc2 runs not as well as it should.
gigabyte and nv are informed about the issue with the latency and there working on it.
the problem in bc2 is the same that the gtx 480 cards have, the gpu doesnt run @ 100% ...
this issue is only in MP, SP doesnt show such problems.
