Highest safety voltage for Q6700?

what is the highest safty voltage i should give my Q6700 cpu?

atm it's all set to Auto on my Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P board and it runs 9x400 but i wanna be able to get 500mhz on the fsb i tried lowered the multipler to 6 and 7 but i keeps not booting up if i do that, so what can i do to get my memory to run 500mhz again?

i did that on my E8400. i am using a ThermalRight Ultra-120 a.k.a True with 1x120mm fan on.

That board should be able to run a 2000FSB.

I'd say use 6 x 500 and crack up the northbridge + vtt + pll voltage

the older 65nm chips didnt OC anywhere near as well for FSB as the newer 45nm ones.

Max intel spec for 65nm quads is 1.55V, that's a bit high though and temps will be through the roof. 1.45V is a good max

when I ran my q6700 on both my 780/790i boards, I never went above 1.45 on volts.. But, that was with water involved.

i used to run 1.5v 24/7 on my old q6600.why are you not running your 10X multi?? q6700 has 10X use it. screw getting 500fsb 450 X10 will get yoyu the same results. besides dual cores always run higher fsb then quads

i couldn't get my q6600 to 500fsb it simply wouldn't boot no matter what i do with my ud3p now i have q9650 3ghz 12mb i can run 500fsb but not stable the max stable for q6600 was 475 or something
the max volts i set in the bios for q6600 was 1,5 i couldnt get it @ 3,6 cuz it was 1,325vid chip and it was heating allot

if i am lucky i may can get my hands on a Q9450 or Q9550 depends on the person i am in contact with wanna keep, atm he got a Q9450 and he bought a used Q9550 to see if it will oc better for him than his Q9450 but either way, if i got the money for it, i will see if i can buy one of the 12mb L2 kings ^^;

i got a used q9650 with 1.2125 vid for 225$ maaaaaaaan this chip oc'z like a crazy 1.15v @3.6 thats just crazy
