All right, so i figured out how to get raid setup on my new win 7 machine (drivers on USB drive) but now my problem is thus :

I have 3 1 tb 7200 rpm Samsungs, the first 2 are setup as raid 0 on my bios and are where i installed my OS however, the third drive is seen in bios but not by windows (it was visable when i was installing but isnt anymore)

Do i have to set it up as a 1 drive raid 0 or something in the bios?

(Mobo is crosshair iv, windows 7 pro oem)

also : putting your hand into a 2000 rpm fan when its on hurts. :slap:

also, i am worried that I may have a crosshair iv with a bad NB heatsink, and for the life of me i cant find a program that tells me the temp.

Reaching your left retina.
If its a fresh HDD, it might not be initialized.

How to initialize: http://www.brighthub.com/computing/hardware/articles/22069.aspx

The first thing you need to do is go into the Control Panel, then double click on Administrative Tools. After that, open up Computer Management, then go to Storage, then Disk Management. This is where you will see all of your drives listed. Be extremely careful in this section because you don’t want to screw up your main hard drive.

What you are looking for in the Disk Management area is your new hard drive. If you only have one hard drive, it should show up as Disk 0. Therefore, your new drive should most likely be Disk 1. Underneath the name Disk 1 it should say Unknown, the size of the disk, and Not Initialized. Right click in this area and you should get a pop-up window. Click Initialize Disk and it should only take a couple of seconds.

Your hard drive is now ready to be formatted.

AFAIK after you setup two drives on RAID 0 they "became only one" (2x 1 TB discs @ RAID 0 = 1 TB HDD on "My Computer"), so if two HDDs show up on "My Computer" that seems fine to me (although the RAID one has improved speed ofc)
