hands down the Alienware 2310. Its a 3d Monitor !!! They are a different breed. There are two additional requirements to take its full advantage though

1. You need nvidia 3d vision glasses to actually experience the 3d vision
2. You ned to have a vga card with dual DVI outputs.

but..by all means go for Alienware.

This, given the choices. I would recommend Samsung or LG generally, but there is no option for either of that. 3D monitors are for people who might want to develop cross eye.

Edit: Iggster is right, its the 1200 that we want.

Without doubt I would suggest the U2410

the aw2310 is only 1080 and will be over priced (alienware)
the g2410h is only 1080
u2410 is 1200 and gives noticelbly more screen real estate and has an IPS panel so colours and contrast are much better than a TA panel.

now the downside - the u2410 is an IPS panel so the response time will not be as good as TA panel monitors (I have a dell IPS panel and in all honesty ive never had a problem)

Response Time of u2410 :6ms (gray to gray) Typical is this make much difference?
as the price of ALIENWARE AW2310 23" 3D Monitor and Dell U2410 UltraSharp U2410 24-inch Widescreen Monitor as almost same and Dell G2410H 24" LED Widescreen Flat Panel Monitor Full HD is the half the price.

Can u make it more clear what this LED is this pure LED or it is only the backlight LED?

I would go with something that is LED. I prefer Samsung, like Fourstaff, simply because they seem to be the best quality and crystal clear. LED will save you energy cost over time and they look better than regular LCD's. And good sammy's have 2MS GTG which makes games look great.

What is pure LED ? LED is just type of back light.

IMHO 120Hz (3D screen) all the way.
