PNY Technologies introduced a couple of DDR3-1333 MHz dual-channel memory kits for desktops, and a couple of DDR3-1066 MHz dual-channel kits for notebooks, under its Optima series. The kits are available in capacities of 4 GB (2x 2 GB), and 8 GB (2x 4 GB), costing US $69.99 and $129.99, respectively, both for the notebook and desktop lines.

it's DDR3-1066.....slower even than DDR2-800....

the second one yes, but it's for notebooks. ddr3-1066 is pretty decent for notebooks. the other is 1333, and i would bet could be ocd to 1600.

My god, what is wrong with you? Do you even read the article? 8GB for 1333MHz. 8GB kits usually go in the $200+ range for a decent set, so this is a good price. And how the hell is DDR3-1066 slower than DDR2-800? :laugh:
