Opinions on New i7-950 Build

Could you tell me what do you think of the following build performance/overall quality wise?

The PC will be primarily used for gaming, multi-tasking and the like. I would also like to OC the CPU to around 4.2Ghz or so.

Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R
Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB
GTX 580 SLI or HD6970 CFX - Not sure which yet.
Corsair DDR3 6144MB (2048MBx3) 1600Mhz CL 7-7-7-20 XMS3 or Dominator GT.
Samsung SH-S223 X22
CoolerMaster HAF 932
Seasonic X-850 850W
Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme+2 Scythe Gentle Typhoon 120mm Fans. <- Should I go 1450RPM or 1850RPM? will it be noisy? Are they good fans?

Looks like a solid build. However, if it is in your budget, I'd get an SSD for a boot drive. It does make a difference. To save on costs, I'd get the XMS3's instead of the Dominators. You can buy cheaper DDR3, then tweak it for added performance. I have the 1850 GT's. They are the best fans I've ever owned, period. They are also very quiet for 1850's. and the extra air flow is certainly worth a touch more noise. As far as the chip goes, there is certainly no promises that you will reach a stable 4.2 on these newer chips. I'd shoot for 4.0 and consider anything more as a bonus.

That SSD is good (as it has a Sandforce controller) but you might want to check out cheaper Sandforce-based SSD out there.

Also the 6870's in CFX cant comete with the GTX 580's SLI, you should either wait to get the 6970's for CFX, or just get the 580's
