Im selling my motherboard,cpu,and memory out of my system to do an i7 upgrade.These parts have served me very well.

First up is the memory. SOLD

Next is the cpu.SOLD
Intel core2quad Q9550 C1
The cpu has been lapped and has been clocked at 3.8ghz 24/7 with 1.32v
It will do 4.2ghz at 1.38v

yeah i bought it sorry guys, im going to give it a better lap job and see what she can do. i also got my gigabyte board p45-ud3p im going to throw it in there and push it to the max.

Hmm you got a older q9550 that doesn't clock as high? Im looking to step up from my q6600 Also you bought everything right? What are you doing with the mobo? It would be better than my current board too and could clock my q6600 high!

So then why do you need the q9550? I just fold and it would be nice to have a 9550 or a board that OC's better. Although i can hit 450fsb on this p7n

i have 3 computers at home im always updating them plus i build computers for friends.
please listen to me ( buy a ssd ). the money you would spend on cpu mobo and memory you can buy a ssd cheaper and it will perform better.

True but id need a decent sized SSD for my OS and games then just run the WD blue for data.

Wow that would be sweet man! I could easily get my q6600 to 4.0 on that! My chip likes a 8x multiplier at anything above 1600 so im kinda at a limit here. It's either 450*8 for 3.6 or 400*8. It could also be the board thats terrible. I mean a 750i chipset isn't the best for C2Q's.
