Hi,
Some time ago i noticed that my MB temps are very high (60 Celsius when just turned on and now it tends to show over 100 Celsius) than I realized that it must be a faulty sensor. My PC works flawlessly, no hangs up, no crashes. I decided to remove NB heatsink to see what was happening. Although the heatsink has springs to make better contact with the chip it had some type of glue connecting them. I did not know what it was so I applied a bit of thermal paste and put the heatsink back in place. Everything works fine (besides that faulty sensor) however I am not sure if thermal paste was a good idea after all.
Should I be worried about that? If so what kind of glue should I get ? Besides how can I notice when NB overheats? Any signs? For example when CPU does it decelerates when GPU does you can see black screen and so on.
Thanks for Your time.
