Bump for a freakin good Asus M4A785-M mobo! Able to unlock cores, lot of onboard features and even better Asus PowerSurge that shut down the board by redirecting the overcurrent to a special "waste chip" before it blows everyhing. Low budget cruncher or even for kids or for computer to resale easily after. THAT is a board that is a Win-Win on everysides.

At that price it's good and since the guys are going to DDR3 memory those past months you could be able to get real good deals on DDR2 memory around here. It can be mounted with the newest 6 cores cpus.

got a ? about the mobo. do u think the onboard gfx would do better then my xfx 6600pci that only runs at 8x? (<--look up my mobo to see why i say only at 8x)

The onboard graphics are enough to do basic computing and that's about it they really can't even do 1080p video.

ProMOS DDR2 667 1GB dim pulled from my netbook to replace with a 2GB kit, it works perfectly, asking $10.

too bad that is not DDR3 ... I am in the market for 1GB of it
