Mods:
I have build a case mod which could easily be moved to LAN-Party's or my friends and have battery function capability as well since there's often are power failure's at LAN parties.

Idea:
I wanted to build a nice LAN-Party aluminum suitcase laptop with an analog monitor build in and battery function capability as well since there's often power failure's at LAN parties.

While others must take a break, I can game on!

That is pretty frickin wild Coolone!! Any particular reason you went with an older CRT monitor as opposed to an LCD monitor?

What is your battery life like? That's a marine battery, isn't it?

Hi ultimatedesk & copenhagen69

Yes, I built this case mod back in 2006 and at that time LCD monitors were expensive, so I just used my old 14" CRT monitor for it.
Also as it should be a LAN-Party case mod so I thought it could get some craziness with the big CRT monitor.

The battery is from a golf wagon also I got it for free since it is not new. The case mod with monitor could run 30 min with it.
You need very huge batteries if you would run longer on a battery in such a setup GIGABYTE sells similar computers to India since
there not is stable power all the time.

I got the battery since it not could drive the ladies golf wagon thru a 18 holes gold course.

Yes, The CRT is a real killer.
