What are your next upgrades??

I am extremely bored right now watching the superbowl.

I thought i would make a thread for people to share what they plan on doing with their rigs next. This year seems to be like an awesome year for us PC gamers with games that may actually be able to stress our hardware or force some of us to upgrade.

Here is what i plan on doing. I may not be doing to much on the performance side though.

Not in any particular order

1. Soundcard either HT Omega Striker or Asus Xonar DX
2. Ditch my logitech x2300 and get some M Audio AV40's
3. New desk. L desk
4. Possibly downgrade to a 850w PSU from Corsair or Seasonic
5. Lastly a GPU upgrade if Crysis 2 or BF3 really call for it

I've never been happier with my rig.. but if I wanted to burn some money it would most likely be for another GTX 580 and a small power plant.

I've been hanging on to this DDR2 AM2+ board waiting for Bulldozer. My next upgrade will DEFINATELY be Bulldozer, with an AM3+ board and some fast DDR3...drop in my 6870s and I am going to be good for a bit.

Im in the same boat as you. Trying to hang on with my current system till dozer hits the market. So a new board, cpu and memory will be my next major buy. My current gfx is still more than able to handle today's app's and games. Maybe a large storage drive also. So a board, cpu, memory and a HDD. Hell pretty much a complete overhaul.

plan on getting a new GPU 'MSI 6850 with Thermaltake Sorb' and a new PSU later on. really my MB and RAM is all good. not too big of a difference with DDR3

If Crysis 2 requires a new video card, then I'd buy one. Additionally I might get two Samsung F3 drives and RAID them together to get some performance boost.

I'll be upgrading headphones in the near-ish future and, if BF3 calls for it, another GTX 470 with a waterblock. Either that or I'll sell this GTX 470 and waterblock and get something else.
