Hi guys.
i wonder if any of you would mind signing an online petition calling on developers to enable button remapping after a disabled gamer complained about not being able to play Dead Space 2.

His name is Gareth and he has suffered from cerebal palsy from birth, so therefore cannot use his hands.
so he plays Dead space or dirt 2 using his chin :cool:

Those videos sure did sober me up but good. Nothing like seeing a guy playing games better than I do using only his chin to really put you in your place. :eek:

I know this is tangential but why not use AutoHotKey or other remapping tools? Another option, which really is easier than it sounds for people with control of their hands, is to rewire a mouse so that the buttons go through a different HID controller (like a programmable AVR chip) such that the mouse buttons can be remapped to any keyboard key on a hardware level. If necessary one could even write a custom mouse driver that allowed the mouse keys to be remapped. It also appears that the game uses XInput, which has been thoroughly hacked and could potentially be used to patch this issue. Anyway, just sayin'.
