Zowie is the name of an interesting new peripherals brand. Today we will be taking a look at their new gaming keyboard dubbed the Celeritas. The Zowie Celeritas keyboard features mechanical keys which should improve your performance both in games and while doing simple typing tasks.

Why would someone choose this keyboard over the SteelSeries 7G? (Only for a proper Enter/Backspace key I suppose?)

List of cons:
Caps Lock light issue -> not an issue
No USB ports -> included
No headphone pass-through -> included
No wrist rest -> included

It costs the same (or slightly cheaper) and has Cherry MX blacks, better for gaming than Browns.

Preference, I had a Steelseries 6GV2 and I hated it. I still use my computer to do a considerable amount of typing and Cherry Blacks are awful (for me at least) for typing. I Ended up returning it and getting a DAS Professional S keyboard in Cherry Blues. I could have gotten the Silent S in cherry Brown but Infact love the clickity clack of keyboards on my fingers :D

But this is a keyboard made for, and marketed for, gamers. No one would buy one of these solely for typing. There are plenty of Cherry keyboards for sale brand new much cheaper than any of these mechanical gaming keyboards.

Its all preference, I had a Deck Cherry Clear board and I hated it, it was too fatiguing and I think I would have the same problem with the blacks.

This article mentioned clicking, but MX Browns don't click. The only sound comes from the keycaps hitting the board if you bottom out.
