ORICO Intros UD3 Series USB 3.0 Flash Drive

Chinese flash drive maker ORICO unveiled its UD3 series of USB 3.0 flash drives. These typically-sized flash drives is available in 16 GB and 32 GB capacities, and offer performance on par with portable SSDs. The 32 GB model is tested to offer close to 164 MB/s sequential read, 150 MB/s sequential writes in CrystalDiskMark, and 164/142 MB/s (read/write) in ATTO Disk Benchmark. It's likely that ORICO will stick to the Asian market for now.

I can't wait for fast memory to be in microsd cards.

Cheap fast memory preferably.

My 16gb one does 2MB/s if I'm lucky writing files to it.

Having my ADATA USB 3.0 16gb stick on USB 2.0 I can see huge speed improvements over what I was typically getting on usb2.0 (which was 12 to 28 mbps). Yesterday while transferring 1 movie at a time and then batch transfer of 4 at a time and I was seeing 76mbps and averaged around 62, Needless to say I am ready for me to be able to afford a motherboard with USB 3.0 on it

But since they only come with 2 ports (as of now) might as well just buy an pci-e card, if you have room, I suppose.
