I was hoping that someone had the dame problem. My computer has shut off ans now when I turn it on again, it makes a loud, long beep and nothing else happens. Then the beep happens again. The green light is on the mother board and I tested the power supply and it was fine. I also tried to a different slot for the ram, and the same thing happened. Can anyone help? Thanks So Much!!!!:)

Possibly one of your RAM sticks is broken.Remove them all and try putting one at a time.

There should be a jumper located on your motherboard that can be used to reset BIOS. Without knowing which motherboard you have I can't point you in a direction it might be. Often there is a diagram on the interior of your computer case, or a manual which will show its location.
