[WTB] ATA IDE Laptop HDD

Hello TPU Members :respect:

Trying to help a little old lady out here, she has a dell laptop that needs a CHEAP replacement
5400RPM ATA/IDE Hard Drive. 80Gig or 120Gig.
I have some older CPU's, Memory, or AGP Video cards if you wanna trade instead. Let me know Thanks :toast:

If no luck elsewhere I have a 40GB and maybe a 60GB from old Powerbooks that I would just give you for shipping. For the love of God though if you must get her a used hard drive (I know ATA is harder to find even if money wasnt an issue) show her how to back up her important data somewhere, anywhere. Disc, cloud, thumb drive, whatever.

The 60gig would be fine, Yes i already had a talk with her about backing up her files, but she is 72yrs old, like she is going to listen to a young whippersnapper like me lol, anyways i put all her pics and document on a flash drive for her. I'm from wisconsin so shipping would be next to nothing. send me a pm. Thanks

If anyone else has an old drive for my Dell 2650 INSPIRON I would be very appreciative. My drive just tonight quit. It is an old laptop but it still works fine. It is ata/ Ide.
