Hi, everyone!

I've got an ASUS EAH6950/2DI2S/2GD5 videocard.
First of all, i tried to unlock it with bios downloaded from this site.
It was Asus.HD6970.2048.110106.bin file (Asus EAH6970 DCII).
I've flashed the image with atiwinflash command-line option (-unlockrom 0; -f -p 0 asus.HD6970...), but suddenly discovered, that i flashed the rom with switch on "2" position!

Now i have a 6950 bios at switch "1" position:

And a 6970 bios at switch "2" position:

I tried to reflash back 6950 bios at switch "2" with atiflash and atiwinflash utils with no luck, even with the -f(orce) options!

Flashing switch "1" position bios passing fine anytime with any bios.

Videocard is working fine in both positions.

The question is how to get my backup bios back!

Any suggestions?

p.s. ASUS P8P67PRO M/b + i5-2500k proc., 4 Gb ddr3-1333 Mhz, WD-EARS 1.5 Tb, Windows 7 SP1 x64 Professional.

I've read some reviews at newegg claiming that bios 1 is the write protected and bios 2 the one to use for modding.

Current situation is:
I CAN flash any bios at "1" position.
I CAN'T flash any bios at "2" position. I did it only once.

Can confirm that ASUS EAH6950/2DI2S/2GD5 has bios 2 "open" and bios 1 "locked".
