What was the best thing while ocing u ever get?
my was a athlon xp 2000+ thoroughbred which runs @200x11 with 1.85 core volt.
it was pretty good for stock settings like this: 133x12.5

I got a K62 500Mhz all the way to 550Mhz

Next oc was with an XP3200 all the way to the speeds of a 3200

Current oc is a winnie 3200(2Ghz) -> 2.5Ghz

u mean a xp3200(~2200) -> 3200 :eek:

close to 50% oc (situation is jealousy over kill :mad:

)

K6-II , they were real nice ,open multiplier ,vapid , capable high volt with out many requirement , i even remember a k6 that it fail(burn some how) after that give it a (if i can remeber) 1.85 or ...(highest v that mb can make) then it worked agian!.nice huh ! :rolleyes:

nah nah sorry should have made myself clear my athlon xp3200(2.2) went to 2.2 never tried to o/c that, sorry!

nice OC on the cpu. not to be rude but you shouldnt take the credit for the card as viper john tweaked it for you (nice oc none the less). also my best OCs to date are p43.0e->3.52 stock hsf and bba radeon x850xt pe 581mhz core 614mhz mem stock hsf (after i accidentally hit the "find max settings" button) the gpu core is at its peak with stock cooling i think but i think the mem will hit 640+ just gotta get around to reinstalling the driver (been busy swapping components into my new box) Happy Overclocking everyone

Ive Overclocked my Tualatin 1.3 cellie @ 1.6 It ran stable for a day or 2, after that i played around with some things and it became unstable :mad:

Ive got it currently runnin on 1.5 Still an overclock of 15%. Basicly my motherboard doestn allow any higher, and ive got a crappy OEM PSU @ 300W.

Well, i will post some nice stuff on my new system when i get it

Haha, my best overclock was my Pentium 75MHz. I clocked it up to 115MHz! That's a 53% increase! All that with stock cooling...

John returns his cards with stock clocks. Just like everyone else, I had to use RivaTuner, and/or ATITool to actually OC the card. I experiment with settings just like everyone else.

My best OC was with this system. I never really overclocked with any of my other systems. My P4 2.8ghz I had overclocked to 3.2ghz but my dad was the one that paid for that so he wouldn't let me keep the overclock. My 3200 ClawHammer would only overclock 200mhz because the NF3 150's didn't have a PCI lock. I had the knowledge about overclocking just not a system that could do it until now. My current OC is only 16%, I'm hoping with the purchase of an OCZ PSU later this summer I'll be able to get more.
