I've been playing it almost daily for months.

Recently it was taking a long time to get started, and even lately only started after I clicked "cancel" on the Steam window that says "preparing to launch Battlefield: Bad Company 2"...

Now, if something happens, it's a white, full-screen window with the BFBC2 icon and Battlefield Bad Company 2 text in the title bar. Then immediately back to desktop.

Uh, wot? Does anyone have a solution? Am I the only one?

I verified the game cache, and didn't change any drivers...

Overclocked GPU?

I think every white screen error with this game is GPU related.

Huh, I dunno, just as suddenly, it's working again... Nothing's overclocked, for precisely these reasons. Well, technically my GTX 570s ARE overclocked but MSI sells them like that...
