I would try:

Pulling everything from the case and trying the power button on the motherboard(if applicable).
Checking the PSU connections
Check the power/reset headers to the case
Try reseating the cpu, heatsink, and booting with only 1 stick of ram at a time(in varying slots)

sounds to me like you either left the CMOS jumper on clear, or forgot a power cable - most likely the 4 pin 'CPU AUX' near the CPU socket.

Corsair are really good, very few fail. the problems with RMA would be related to whoever you bought it from in your country.

Round eye is an asian man's insult to white people, isn't it? I'm confused.

Also - why did you start this thread if you knew your PSU was the culprit 20 days ago lol?

I've been noticing more and more people with Corsair PSUs misbehaving.

Corsair quietly been switching internal components to cheaper alternatives since they already have their reputation?

Will have to see in the up coming months.

I highly doubt they are doing that. Corsair hasn't really been known to play games like that in the past. Also remember this: most people only write a post when something bad happens :)

It's like this one time when a bus almost side swiped me: I called the 1800 number on the back to let them know how poorly he was driving. The lady listened to my complaint and said "Don't forget to call when you notice them driving well also". Like I'm going to take my time to let them know every time a bus is driving acceptably?

Same goes for hardware: people aren't going to report every piece of hardware that functions, because it's expected to.

Yes it is but I'm using it jokingly. I'm just kidding around. I'm a round-eye too! I'm cracking on China's product quality. I'm not poking fun at the OP. Sorry if it was taken that way.

It sounds like you may need this just came out on the front page :)
Thermaltake Announces Dr. Power II Universal Digital Power Supply Tester

Does that tester put any kinda load on the psu? The only 'tester' I've used is the one that Best Buy used to sell. I've had that one show fairly acceptable voltages but once I put a load on the 12v rail (automotive headlamp ~6a draw) the psu flaked out. I don't trust those testers. His psu might have a cold solder. That's usually the cause when a new supplie fails.

EDIT - I shouldn't point all my fingers at China. I should point one at China and the other 9 at ROHS. http://www3.uic.com/wcms/Images.nsf/(GraphicLib)/IPCNewOrleans.pdf/$file/IPCNewOrleans.pdf
