Looking for a new Printer

Well, after a recipe cook, and start of another one, my Epson Workforce 500 died.. :cry:

Served me good for 2 years.

So, now looking for a new printer to buy come next pay

Price: Under $200
Preference: All-in-One since I work from home when I'm off the clock. (has to have a fax)
Scanner/copier/fax
Color Printer
Networking of any kind. Printer is close to router

No brand is a preference. I do have a Corporate discount with both HP and CDW.

i cant help since my printer knowledge is limited, but listing the features you need would help a lot.

USB? wifi? LAN?

Colour/Black only?

does all in one include scanner/copier?

I didn't list the features since most all "All-in-ones" consist of memory card readers.. Along with the fact standard "all-in-ones" have scanner/copier attached. Just not all "all-in-one" have "fax" which there is still companies I deal with that require that..

So.. With what you put, I'll add more to the OP Mussels.

I just got the Canon MX882 and like it so far. I don't use the fax function though. Wireless just works. I got it on sale for 124.99 on Amazon or I'd have probably got a lesser HP but couldn't pass up the deal.

I love Brother. Drivers are light (under 30 MiB for the lot), there's lots of OS's available, they're affordable, and they get the job done.

I do know HP drivers are ridiculous (>1 GiB) and it isn't abundently obvious how to just install the drivers. They also tend to install at least half a dozen processes/services and some are known to cause performance issues (read: temporary freezing) on some computers. HPs may print nice but from the computer standpoint, they're nothing but a PITA.

I have an HP no complaints. I don't think they sell this model any longer.

Thanks for the thoughts guys. I'll have to buy a printer in the next few weeks so I can do a revision of some recipes.. I'll keep all in mind on when I buy
