Seems like there are a few people in the industry willing to bet some serious money on a March 23rd release for the Playstation 3. These sources are shop owners and the like. Even EA seems to be releasing Playstation 3 games on the 22/23rd of March. This would also confirm the statement from Sony, that everything is still on time for Europe. Let's hope so.

Glad to see they are keeping their promise, at least it looks like it. Lets hope they have enough consoles and plenty of launch games.

went to the science museum with college and had a go on the ps3, i have to say the graphics are good, but i dunno if it was me the game laged a bt when there was too much smoke or fire, it was a motorcrossing game of some sort.

and the price for it t would be way to high, best think to do i think is to get a dx10 card.

Everything is on time because nobody is buying PS3s in America. I just downloaded GoSudoku! on PS3 last night, and couldn't get a game going - and I waited for over an hour.... It only requires 4people. ; ; ; ;.

Catalogues always have a premium though. I personally hate them because what they do is offer credit options at really high interest rates to people who wouldnt normally be able to get a credit card or loan. Every single item is overpriced, and all their payment plans mean you pay like 50% more anyway.

I cant remember what Littlewoods is like since i havent seen catalogues in ages, but when finance is offered on every single item in the catalogue, you realise who their target market is.

Sorry, it wasnt an attack on you. I was just trying to explain why the price tag is £549 and added a few personal opinions.

This is true but even without the premium it will still be alot when compared to other consoles on the market. I guess you have to look at what you get extra over the competitors for your money. Until game developers work out the best use of cell chips thats probably not a lot. Anyway wait six months and it will be much cheaper.

Isn't our PS3 NTSC and Europe and them PAL? Also, folks are still gobbling up the PS3, just not as much as was expected (and with the price, who can blame them). If I had 1000 bucks Id bu a Wii first, then the PS3, just because the Wii is damn fun!
