The reason I want 8GB is because I often use a virtual machine.

Still, they "used" to work.. But I guess stuff breaks eventually.

I moved the memory modules back in the dimm3 and 4, black screen again. Everytime one of those slots are used.

No, that causes a black screen when i power on the pc. Dosen't show the bios booting or anything. Just no signal.

Perhaps, my friend got some DDR3 memory. I hope to lend his for abit and maybe I can find the issue that way. He also got a amd CPU like me.
Might not be before the weekend though.

Crucial --> on lots of mobos, those sticks need manual setup in the BIOS (clock speed, voltage and latencies). Only the latency values after the first four in the list may be set on [auto], e.g. 5-5-5-15-[auto]-[auto]-[auto]...
Also make sure whether both pairs are rated at the same voltage, clock frequency and latency values.

I didn't set them up manual, cause I never did that before. So I tried with his CPU and memory.
Didn't work even with a bios reset.
Could a powersupply cause this..? When I tried his RAM, it was 3 identical modules, no luck. with his cpu and his ram - Still no luck.
Happend on both motherboards.
