Water Cooling swooshing noises.

Hi guys. I set up a new water cooling rig last night and im getting alot of swooshing noises. My new parts include:

XSPC RX240 Rad.

Bitspower 6970 Blocks (VG A6970)

EK-Supreme HF EN (Nickel)

XSPC Acrylic Single 5.25” Bay Reservoir (Alu Front

The noise is predominantly coming from the radiator(i think). Im also assuming that air might be getting in but there are no leaks.

If anybody has had similar issues could you please share with me your experiences and what you did to fix it. Anyone else that thinks they might have an idea please tell. Thanks

it likely is air. you need to rotate the case with the pump running, you know, roll it forward, then back, and maybe side to side. Basically you want to somehow orient the case so that the air can easily escape the rad through its barb on the out going side so it can be caught in the res as the pump pushes it through the loop.

Air pockets! You still have some air in your system. You need to move/turn your radiator until the air escapes.

leave the pump running, but make sure the PC is off so if it does leak the PC is ok

Theres no way its the normal sound. Its almost like a trickling sound of water, like a stream or river. B4 it was silent so somethimgs going on.

Is the loop full? I've heard this noise happen before when there wasn't enough water in the loop and it made a crashing noise, like a wave crashing against a rock. Get a funnel and wait until it can't take anymore!

The noise is still there. No leaks. Im gona keep it like this 4 a while and see what happens.

If it doesnt go away ill have 2 buy sum new fittings and tube and re-do it all. FFS. :ohwell:

Just keep messing with it; still could be air trapped in rad or something up w your pump. At any rate, I really don't think you need to buy new tubing and such at least not at this point.

Agreed you just have some air in there somewhere that just needs to work its way out. Or like b82rez just needs some topping up.

I know my pump will makes some ugly cavitation noises until its all filled up and aired out.

Just wished you didn't tease us with those tiny thumbnails, looks like a nice setup.

Well i got fed up with it so i pulled it all apart and getn sum new fittings. This has never happend b4 with my water cooling set ups. When the parts come ill tell u if the fixed it. Any way heres sum bigger pictures. Thanks 4 the help guys.
