well tbh im just wondering what people have, not wanting to spend a fortune with the launch of the new AMD cpu's and closely after new chipsets. building a pc for my brother.

tbh wouldnt mind a crossfire board but i dont need one, just wondering what i can pick up for a good price. i would be happy with a am3 board running 750sb ddr2 or ddr3

It's am3, I got a 925 in mine, the only complaint I have about it is that it's ugly, and that the voltage only goes to 1.65ish volts.

Cpu, still got my 925 to 3.8ghz stable. Couldn't get to 4ghz though... might be the proc though.

well im trying to keep the cost down tbh as low as i can, with new amd cpu's etc out imminently.

will have a search tho. im sure people will have upgraded to intel or for the new amd platform that are looking to sell

Pitty you didnt start looking earlier. I still had a good 5850 about 2 weeks ago. one went in a private sale, the other went on ebay for £120, but i was trying to sell it for about a month or 2 before i resorted to throwing up in ebay.
