Hey guys I finally decided to go with this build because im tired of waiting for bulldozer. I'm going to be using this mostly for gaming, browsing and occasional video editing. I also plan on overclocking the cpu and gpu. Let me know what you think if you have any suggestions.

This is what im planning on buying:

Looks good. The PSU is a little overkill unless you're planning to SLI later on.

You forgot a CPU cooler. A Cooler Master Hyper 212+ @$30 would do.

Corsair Obsidian 650D---->Corsair Carbide 400R ($190-$100=$90)
Asus P8Z68V-PRO---->Biostar TZ68A+ ($200-$110=$90)
G.Skill RipjawsX 2x4GB DDR3-1600 Low Voltage---->G.Skill Sniper 2x4GB DDR3-1600 ($60-$50=$10)

Save $190 for no performance decrease at all. Then buy a Crucial M4 128GB SATAIII SSD.

id go with an sata III harddrive, i noticed a differnece between sata II and sata III hdd with 7200rpm. i have that dvd drive and its good, asus always makes good products. except for the gtx 580 matrix, stupid 3 slot design not made for sli. save that money, and get an ssd like someone said on here. ssds make all the differnce in booting up your system and how your os operates as well.

I agree and it looks like Newegg has a couple Seasonic units on sale. If not going SLI later, then I'd recommend the SeaSonic S12II 620. For ~80 after shipping and with no rebate, it is a far better unit then the OCZ selected.

I had heard that the SATAIII Support for Hard drives has not really improved anything as of yet. If that statemetn is true it may be a waste.

Though, if rfowler is right, itd be a good way of gaining some extra speed.

AFAIK the meaningful difference is only on burst speed, and that's with a best-case scenario.

im pretty sure theres not much of a difference in price with sata II vs sataIII, if you dont get an ssd get an sata III harddrive as i noticed better booting times compared to sata II(this was prior towards me getting my current HDD, and SSDS). sata III hardrives arnt that more expensive than compared to an sata II hdd, i looked it up on newegg.com. interesting youtube.com video showing the benefits of sata III, although the hdds are somewhat similar in size(500gb sata II 32mb cache vs 640gb sata III 64mb cache, same WD black edition) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gk9oGRAxo6U

I plan on running sli later on so that's why i chose this power supply. Also what SATA III hard drive would you recommend because I don't plan on getting an SSD.

Since that's the case, you can pick up an Enermax unit for the same price that would be a lot better unit. I do not have anything against OCZ, its just that at that price point there are better options.

Enermax, FPS and Seasonic (for examples) are OEMs

OCZ is just rebranding OEM products. Neither them nor Corsair make PSU.

Though if you still only decide between OCZ and Corsair, Corsair is a better option even at the same price.
