hddstatus through Speedfan reports this

Your hard disk is a TOSHIBA MK3265GSX with firmware GJ003A.
The average temperature for this hard disk is 37C (MIN=27C MAX=48C) and yours is 24C.
Your hard disk's S.M.A.R.T. attributes are now being analyzed and a full report about the reliability, health and status of your hard disk is generated:
Your hard disk is not below any attribute threshold. This is good.
Your hard disk was never below any attribute threshold. This is good.
Your hard disk is now being compared to real data used to define normal values for your specific hard disk model. This way, the analysis can automatically use proper operating ranges. The images give you an idea of how each attribute is within such range. Current and raw values are shown for easier reference for experienced users. There are 3001 hard disk models in the current archive.

Attribute Current Raw Overall
Raw Read Error Rate 100 0 Very good
Throughput Performance 100 0 Very good
Spin Up Time 100 1236 Very good
Start/Stop Count 100 2684 Very good
Reallocated Sector Count 100 0 Very good
Seek Error Rate 100 0 Very good
Seek Time Performance 100 0 Very good
Power On Hours Count 94 2488 Watch
Warning: Power On Hours Count is below the average limits (96-100).
Spin Retry Count 153 0 Very good
Power Cycle Count 100 1415 Very good
GSense Error Rate 100 23 Very good
Power Off Retract Count 100 109 Very good
Load Cycle Count 96 42422 Watch
Warning: Load Cycle Count is below the average limits (98-100).
Reallocated Event Count 100 0 Very good
Current Pending Sector 100 0 Very good
Offline Uncorrectable Sector Count 100 0 Very good
Ultra DMA CRC Error Rate 200 0 Very good
Disk Shift 100 52 Very good
Loaded Hours 97 1331 Normal
Load Retry Count 100 0 Very good
Load Friction 100 0 Very good
Load In Time 100 299 Very good
Write head 100 0 Very good

NOTE: not all warnings are reflected on fitness and performance overall values as relevancy is based upon the settings from the hard disk manufacturer who is the best entity deputed to define such relationships.

NOTE : your hard disk Power On Hours Count attribute current value (94) is below the normal range (96 - 100) reported for your specific hard disk model. Basically your hard disk was powered on for more than the maximum time the average user did. This means that either all of the reports collected are from hard disks that were not powered on for too long (this is realistic for recent models) or that your hard disk is becoming old. Usually this is not considered as a pre-failure advisory, but you should check whether you want to replace the hardware or keep an eye on its performances over time.

The overall fitness for this drive is 99%.
The overall performance for this drive is 100%.

Should I worry and go prepare a backup in my spare (old and slow) disk? or it is fine otherwise?

Many thanks :)

from the report it should be fine, except you experience anomaly like unusual sound, suddenly slowly or bsod
and on that, it would show the minimum value every single item
if your hdd value decrease close or until 70% from fit value, you should plan to make a backup

The drive is fine and you shouldn't worry about it.

However, I can't believe that you're not making backups! If you don't, then you're 100% guaranteed to lose all your data at some point and I'm not overdramatizing it, either. There's several sources of loss, such as hardware failure, software failure and user error eg deleting the wrong files. I've seen all these things happen to hapless users in my computer support job. Don't be a statistic. ;)

EDIT

Just to rub it in a bit more :) I actually keep three copies of all my data. Note that there isn't a one size fits all backup solution and it's more of a strategy than anything else. Start a thread on making backups if you like and post a link here and we'll talk about it. :)

I made a month ago a image of my OS including my data, but it's saved in another partition of this drive :ohwell: I will move that image to the spare driver ASAP,

Many thanks :)

Oh and your post reminded me: always keep your data on a separate drive or partition from your OS, or it can get ugly if things go wrong.

Speaking of the disk, now appeared this in SMART (today)

I hope it's really a cable issue as indicated, my spare disk has 4 CRC errors too
