The ASRock 970 Extreme4 is no different than the Gigabyte or Asus boards when it comes to PCIe functionality. Even the overall slot selection is the same.
Basically it comes down to your preference for UEFI or BIOS -- think about how long you plan on having the system... if you're going to be buying another system in a couple of years, it won't matter which one you pick.
