Hey guys, i've been a complete idiot.

I've flashed my HIS FAN 2GB 6950 using the guide on here and it's not booting.

I'm now booting with my 285gtx in pci bus 1 and ati 6950 is pci bus 2.

Is there a way to flash it back whilst the nvidia card is in primary... i think im too retarded to do a blind flash :(

urgent help is greatlyappreciated.

Thanks

edit: i should also mention i get the SubSystem ID missmatch when i try and flash to my default bios.rom.

THere should be a jumper on the side of the card, just flip it to the second spot, boot and then flip it back once your on the desktop and flash it back to stock bios

Keep in mind, the default position of that jumper cannot be flashed by anythng in most circumstances, so make sure if your tryng to flash a bios that you are doing it to the second spot not the default setting

Do you use a USB stick with DOS to boot from it? It should work then...
You could also try the -unlock option from atiflash.exe (or something like that), type atiflash.exe /? or /help.

I made the same mistake. I can boot off of a pci card, but atiflash reports no adapters present with the -i switch, even though the 6950 is still in the original slot. Any ideas?
