I've got $165 and need an AGP video card

Somebody help me out. I've got $165 for a video card. I have no idea what to get.

It has to be AGP and have similar or greater performance than an X800GTO.

A 6800GS, 7600GT, X800, X850, X1600, X1650????

i got a x800 flashed to a x850 xt pe and it rocks, but i would try to find a x1900 or x1950, i found one on ebay the other day that ended at $170 i believe. but what every you do stay away from the x1600. i had it and my 9600 beat it bad!!!! example

9600 cs:s 70+ fps

x1600 cs:s 40-50fps

6800GT or X1950? X1950 for sure. As for ATi, I would only recommend X1650 and X1950 series. Or nVidia with DDR3 over 7600GS.

Just to ease... (from worse to best)

7600GT
X1650XT
7800GT
7900GT
X1950XT

So now only the budget counts.

Edit: Goddamn blind me! Didn't see you were looking for an AGP card... :wtf:

There is a couple of cheap Sapphire 800GTO's 256MB going on the egg at well below your max price and a couple of HIS 512MB 1650XT's in your range also.

1950pro AGP (Highest Performance)
7800GS AGP
7600GT AGP
X1650XT (Performs lowest)

Throw out idea of getting a X8** series card. Good cards but no SM 3.0 and were moving up to SM 4.0 at the moment so those cards are really lagging behind.
I would link a review to the X1650 but when I saw it against the 7600GT the 7600GT won. Though I have to say it is very close to performance when it comes to shader heavy games. Though when it comes to overclocking the 7600GT and 7800GS would fly past it.

The X1950 and the X1650Xt both cost more than i have at the moment. Both very good cards though.

I actually bid on an X850XTPE on ebay. If i don't win that someone offered me a 6800GT.

Wow... ur are on drugs for sure... I don't find how a 128bit GPU with nearly two times less Shaders and pipelines being faster... That HIS is overpriced... you can find X1650XTs for $224AUD!!!! That Gecube X1950PRO is cheap because its a CUSTOM DESIGN. (What happened to the small and tiny capacitors?), you can see how the PCB is different, Now... blacktruckryder, get that Gecube X1950PRO, (so cheap omg)
