doesnt matter. they're probably the same chip anyways. Maingear are either binning on their own or are using custom loops for their 5.2 ghz.

Never heard of maingear and willl never for sure. IF TPU starts to forward local builders announcements, it should start hired a big team to keep track, each city has a dozen...

maingear is an u.s based pc maker. and they're pretty big. they have the first 2700k PC at 5.2 cooled by either a custom loop or an CoolIT EPIC. an aio with a huge rad. it's somewhat quite a feat to come up with all their chips capable of 5.2 full stable. so they must have done something on their end because the 2700k seems to be no different than the 2600. just a higher multi and the same batch.
