6870 vs 6950

Please help me guys I can't decide what to buy, and I will buy tomorrow. I am gaming on an eyefinity 3 monitor system so Nvidia cards are not a choice(I dont like dual video card for 3 monitors) :laugh:

I play on 1360 x 768 (I know its small but im satisfied with it) on games that doesnt support eyefinity and game on 3 x 1360 x 768 on games that support it.

I play all types of video games but will mainly play with eyefinity on BF3, Crysis 2, Arma II, and other demanding games. :rockout:

Whats the better choice?? I know the 5850 is pretty much near the performance with the 6870 but I already sold my 5850 for the price near the 6870.

So whats the better choice??? 6870 OR 6950??? Would it be better if I just buy the 6870 and spend that extra money that should have been spent on the 6950 on another computer part??(What would it be?)

I'm planning to buy the Onza Xbox 360 Controller or Logitech F510 should I choose the 6870.

If you have better suggestions than what was said above please help

6950 has more VRAM, so it would run better in Eyefinity. I would go with that.

well im buying the 1gb version. Very Very Very Tight Budget. I can't go for the 2gb no more

Well this is a hard supject. They both have merit given their price points. If u can get a 1gb 6950 close 2 6870 prices id say go 6950. Otherwise ud have 2 get the 6870. Hey shit i almost bought 1. Either 1 is a good card!

well thanks. 6950 it is. the 6870 will just be my second choice in case the 6950 I ran out of stocks or something. and just put the extra money for something extra

I run a 6870 1 gb and it plays BF3 Great. I have it set on Ultra with AA at x2. I'm running a six core
with 8 gigs of DDR3 1600 too. I'm sure that takes some of the stress off the GPU.

I'd really stretch for the 6950 2GB if I were you, because your eyefinity is OVER 50% MORE THAN 1080p, or over 85% of 2560x1440. You WILL need more than 1GB. The 20$ is worth it. Also, I'd go with the Onza
