Unfortunately no. Mainly because no one is really using them for anything so I am trying to get people to at least stop and think about it cause the way shit's going I am going to see something I really don't want to in this thread. Probably more than once.

And staying out is no fun and shouldn't be necessary.

Am I the only one who thinks spoilers consist of more than major plot points?

DO NOT USE STORM CALL WITH YOUR COMPANIONS AROUND. It shoots lightning at everything. Aura Whisper is the equivalent to Oblivions Detect Life spell. It is extremely useful for when your using sneak or need help in leveling it up. Highly recommended.

Depends on the mod. There will be a Read Me or at the very least info in the description at the download site. Some can be hairy, especially this early. Most are easy to install/uninstall though. Make a copy of your Skyrim folder first just in case something gets screwy.

if you can't afford a house doing the mage missions will give you the key to the archmages apartment, acting as a house.

That would make no difference, Shogo, there are times when loading pages on TPU time out.

It installed everything from the disk.
It's now doing the "small update" (which it says is at 96%) and dropped to 6KB/s AHAHAHAAHHHHHHHHHHH
I hate computers, I hate the internet, I'm going to give it all up and go install a lift kit in my Jeep or something. lol

Actually I get long loads and sometimes timeouts on TPU as well, its really annoying.

I havent really spent alot of time on this game, not alot more than most. As I said ive been just skilling up and dungeon crawling, not doing main quests.

Specifically I keep running to High Hrothgar and asking dude where each word is. He tells me and I go get it. I keep finding masks and loot while looking for them. One from one shout search to the next, make sense?

Oh as for some of the Morrowind tracks being in there yeah I noticed and it's sweet. But for some I found myself struggling to remember if it was Morrowind or Oblivion that I knew them from. But I haven't yet seen any mention of the latter and I haven't played it in ages. Longer than Morrowind, actually.

you can use fallout mod manager itll link with skyrim and you can do it that way, most of them have readme's also that exsplain how to do it, its rather simple

Yeah Kurgan that FXAA Injector makes a nice diff. I see where it says you can edit the .h file manually but what about all those various .ini files like "medium.ini"? Is it using those in that location or must they be moved and renamed to utilize?

Guess I'm wondering to what degree you've tweaked this. I just did a Low Saturation install so far.

Anyone else using uthgerd as a companion? She never seems to die and I quite like her character too

funny I had her and she died, I used console commands to resurrect her. Then she died later, and I just looted her and left her body. Anyone else just drops to their knees and stands back up, she literally died on me twice

Disable Startup Movie

Delete or rename BGS_Logo.bik in the Data\Video folder:

lol, i can understand disabling startup movies for some games with loads of startup videos, but Skyrim is just as simple as bethesda game studios then voila, main screen

Also disabling vsync can have some undesirable effects in my case at least, whenever im on a location where framerate is very high, vertical axis (Y axis) is ultra sensitive, even when mouse acceleration disabled.

The FXAA sharpen filter reminds me of Witcher 2's method of making the texures more crisp.

yeah morowind score all over the place and i like it, the main theme itself has a combiantion of morrowind, oblivion and skyrim theme

I just hit the motherload on ebony ores. I just need Daedra Hearts and il have the most badass gear ever. Anyone know where to get them? My luck has sucked with alchemists so far.

you folks like heavy armors eh, i tend to go light armor, heavy ones doesn't suit my assassin XD

I'm disappointed in light armors, so I have to go heavy. I would like to make a Barbarian, monk, or assassin/rogue. But I don't care how magical these thin metals are, metal isn't silent, even when light, it clangs together. I want some viable cloth/leather armors, then I will be interested in playing those types. The way it sits right now, the game pushes too much towards heavy armor use. And I just don't consider elven or glass armor true light armor, sure it's lighter than the real heavy stuff, but like I said, leather or cloth would be far better.

I made a temporary double set of Ebony gear just to show how badass it is. Too bad I skipped it. Gona revert a save and just make a ton of weapons instead and hold the rest until Daedric. This stuff looks amazing.

I think i like this system better offhand as opposed to having to be gifted or find or buy the higher end armor. Sometimes piece by piece too.

if i can find a decent rigger i can do full on armor for skyrim etc as well, but finding a good rigger weight painter is easier said then done these days.
