2x Diamond HD6970's in crossfire + 1x Diamond HD6950 2GB Unlocked

Office Workstation:
1x Asus GTX 480 + 1x PNY GTX 480 SLI

I run both at stock most of the time as there's no point in OC'ing for my needs. Love both machines. Eyefinity changed my gaming life.

Its fairly old. the GTS250 was ORIGINALY called the 8800GTS(G92) before they ~~teabagged~~ re-named it a few times

Good card though. My mate still has the one i overclocked to 9800GTX+ speeds.

the 8800GTS(G92) was released in 2007

Yeah, it's a decent card, the only reason i haven't upgraded it is because i don't feel i need the extra performance, my next upgrade will probably be too a quieter card more then a faster card

So your saying i should vote 9 series (Mine is much higher clocked then the 8 series one)

It should be voted 9 series. there are a few reports out on the internet where someone flashed their 8800GTS with a 9 series bios and it worked perfectly. but i think they went from the 8800GTS to a 9800GTX as the 9800GTX+ was a dye shrink of the G92 core and was using different memory.

(not quite 100% clear on this)

Yeah they were supposed to be die shrinks but i think you'll find the companies ended up using up old stock a lot of the time

Running an XFX HD 6970 ,upgraded to it from a GTX 470. Glad i switched away from Fermi concerning how inefficient those lines of cards are, in BF3 my 470 would go about 80c+ while the fan would sound like a jets about to take off. Fortunately i don't have to turn the fan speed up as high with the 6970 since it runs a bit cooler, so it's not as loud.

"Superclocking" is a rip-off. It stands to flash the BIOS 50 Mhz higher, put a higher price tag then shove it off:

If you're going to go SLi, get a vanilla card this time around. You won't be getting anything different, then adjust the slider yourself... rather than to fall for that nonsense.
