You can probably get a pre-owned GTX 470/560 for $150 locally, and a GTX 480/HD5870 for $~180 locally.

If you're looking at new, an HD 6850 for $150, and a(n) HD 6870/GTX 560 for $175.

I'd steer clear of those kind of cheap non-ref cards. The eVGA isn't a reference 560 Ti, it's at the size of a 460 with a 460 cooler. Probably built on a 460 PCB since the 560 Ti is pin-compatible with it. Performance or reliability of the rest of those boards is unknown. It's a crapshoot. I'd go by either reference or Twin-Frozr, both of which are acclaimed quality solutions.

Based on the same exact GPU as the GTX 560 Ti, the 40 nm GF114, the GTX 560 has 336 of the 384 CUDA cores enabled, the same number as on GTX 460, but leads with clock speeds without disturbing the power draw much, a characteristic of NVIDIA's second-generation Fermi GPUs. On the reference design the core is clocked at a zesty 810 MHz, CUDA cores at 1620 MHz, and memory at 1 GHz. Compare that to 675/1350/900 MHz on the GTX 460. So the GTX 560 is in essence a super overclocked GTX 460.

:confused: The only EVGA card that I see listed is the EVGA 01G-P3-1460-KR GeForce GTX 560 (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 which is a GTX 560, not a GTX 560 Ti.

lol oh yeah, sorry. Completely missed that. Yep, the 560 is a rebadged 460. I thought it was a 560 Ti.

For $150? You got the best cards you can get, the gtx 465's. :) Just my insight on the matter ;)

Now if it was $200 range, I'd say the 560Ti FPB on EVGA B stock for 190.
