When ocing is it best to get your ram 1:1 ratio? And if so why? Every time i do it lowers scores in 3d mark 06 and aqua mark 3.
My system
7900gt evga(z-tweaked 91.47 drivers)
pent. d 805 ocled to 4.2( watercooled)
asus p5wd2(bios 0501)
2 gig ocz platinum pc 6400
So when ocled my memory is at 1:2 ratio!
I am pretty new to ocling (1 year) and gaming so any help would be appreciated.
My best 3d mark 06 score( 5818)
My best aquamark 03 score (115214)

Those are pretty damn good scores anyway. If your ram can handle the ratio, keep it at 1:1, if not drop it down to the next lowest speed. Sometimes the ram can cause a big impact, sometimes it wont.

Thanks for the reply and the compliments, so is having it at 1:2 ratio slower than 1:1? I set all the ram timings to 4 in the bios, it seems to get best scores at that setting. If i set them to 5or higher should i be able to turn up mhz they run at. It seems around 430 mhz is the limit for me with my current settings. FSB= 213, SDRAM 846 OR 848 CAN;T REMEBER RIGHT NOW. If screen shots are needed thats not a problem.
