So I have one of the "eco" 9800gt. The 6-pin adapter isn't needed...until I start overclocking.
I just bought an Arctic cooler VGA heatsink/fan. While it is out, I would like to know if there is a way to rig up a female connector to the PCB. There is a place for it, but it's just soldered holes in place of it.
I remember seeing an article a few years ago where someone did this.
Any tips, tricks, articles, or personal experiences would help a lot.
