Identifying bottleneck

Hi. I remember being a post either here on the anandtech forum where one can identify the bottleneck as either the CPU or the GPU by seeing what percentage is used by the CPU and GPU. I can find the CPU% using the windows task manager, but how would I find what % of the GPU is being used during the game?

Also, best software for measuring FPS and hardware temps?

msi afterburner will tell you everything you need to know. Remember to use the on screen display.

I see. If my CPU's running at 90-100% but the MSi afterburner shows GPU running 20-40%, it would most likely mean that my GPU's too overpowered for my CPU right?

Your GPU is underpowered and wut ur using is mor CPU intensive

I see. My i3 is yet to arrive, so after some gaming and looking at afterburner/task manager i'll update
