FT-02 is a nice case- I would have bought one if I didn't have an FT-01

Double check the fit of cross-fire 6950's in that case- reviews said something about this or the Raven 02... maybe both.... clearance issues below the expansion slots is the main potential problem

OoOoO Mr. Mechanical Keyboard, nice choice.

You don't mind the slower green drives? Also, prices of HDDs are so bad right now because of the flooding in Thailand. If you can buy one used you would save a lot. It seems like a fair number of people sell HDDs over at the Buy/Sell section (that is unless you've already purchased it).

You likely already know those are decent headphones based off reviews.

Those are my opinions.

Hmm thanks for that. I'll have to investigate this before I buy. I like the case because it is aluminum, mid tower, 90 degree lay out, white/silver two tone, and window. It would suck if my 6950's can't have clearance in it considering it pretty much checks off as my dream case.

You can pick these drives up for about $110 new if you look hard. Price is not too much of a factor for me on this particular purchase any how. I just want 2TB to last me a long time on my games. I'll be using it in conjunction with my Crucial M4 64GB SSD with Intel's fast caching SRT raid. Best of both worlds considering I only have two SATA 3 ports.

I don´t know what steel series mouse pad you are referring to, i once bought one and it was money wasted, i didn´t feel any difference from a normal pad, now i have a razer goliathus and it´s miles better. Unfortunately i don´t remember what model it was.

This review has some detailed photos showing some of the interior space concerns (this is pg 6)

http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/foru...ne-fortress-ft02-mid-tower-case-review-6.html

Check the configuration and placement of your cards, ports, etc... it should work out in most builds but you will see what I'm talking about

*** EDIT- regarding WD Green drives- check some reviews on them... they like trying to spin down to 5400 rpm (impacts performance) when you don't want them to from what I've heard ***

Thanks for that. It looks like it will work just fine in my case. No pun attended. ;)
The green drive I'm talking about is the 2TB 5900RPM seagate drive. I'm going to use in SRT raid mode with my 64GB ssd.

Just did the final tweaks to my final purchase.
-Took the steel series out for a hard surface cyber snipa pad
-Took the Fortress 2 out, added 2.5 bracket for SSD
Everything else the same.

Buying tomorrow.
