Sup ppl, so long no see us!
I got a new laptop and I've upgraded from vista to win7.
The problem is when I've finished the instalation, the wireless doesn't work. I've tried several drivers with no positive results.
Hope someone can give me a hand.

Is this a new 7520? I have an older one so not sure if they use the the model numbers over again. Mine has an Atheros wireless in it.

Thanks but I've already tryed all those drivers and no use :/
when I push the wireless button it says "Wireless enabled and disabled" but no wlan detection.
Like there is not wlan card installed.
I bought it from second hand, is the old one the 7520-5782.
It may be fried. Well I keep up on this sh!t:shadedshu

Well it's the same model as mine. If your feeling adventurous you could pull off the back panel and at least make sure it's properly seated. Outside of that I dunno what else I can think of. I never use that button to turn it on and off(it's always on)

I know there were some versions of the drivers that had issues with the button but your not even there yet. Does it even show up in device manager?

have you tried using the vista drivers for the wifi? you might also want to double check the connections of the white and black cable on the card since that's the antennae. It runs through the laptop and inside the LCD. If it turns out to be the mini pci card then you may have to order the same model off ebay or the like. I've tried replacing them before and they don't seem to like anything but what came with the laptop., or maybe i'm just unlucky with them.

Did it work fine under windows vista? If so i'd go for the old vista drivers.

Yeah it's a mini PCI card. Why I took the pic of it so he might have a look under the hood so to speak and see if like you said if the wires are attached etc.

ah, meant to say "if it turns out to be the mini pci card that's bad" lol, but yea good idea to check those cables
