The GeForce GTX 680 may be today's highlight release but it's not the only Kepler-based offering unveiled by NVIDIA. Besides announcing its new flagship desktop card, NVIDIA today also introduced multiple GeForce 600M Series mobile cards, four of which are powered by the 28 nm GK107 chip.

The Kepler-flavored models in the 600M family are the Enthusiast-grade GeForce GTX 660M and the 'Performance class' GT 650M, GT 640M and GT 640M LE.

According to their maker, all four cards feature support for DirectX 11, PCI Express 3.0, 3D Vision, CUDA, PhysX, Optimus, OpenCL and DirectCompute, and include a 128-bit memory interface. More detailed specs can be found in the chart below.

The GeForce 600M Series cards have already begun shipping within some Sandy Bridge notebooks and will be found in Ivy Bridge notebooks released by Acer, Alienware, Asus, Dell, Gigabyte, HP, IBM, Lenovo, MSI, Samsung, Toshiba and Vizio.

LE is light edition, almost always slower than the vanilla counterpart.

Where are you living? HD7870, HD7700 and GTX680 already broke the 1 Ghz mark.

If you're talking about mobile parts, it will take a little longer.
