Cooler Master, an industry leading chassis, thermal solution, peripheral, and accessory manufacturer today announces a visually alluring new piece of functional art, the ARC MacBook Pro and iPad stand. Draw attention to your beautiful pieces of technology with this new multipurpose stand.

Space Saving Mode
Wish a fond farewell to clutter while significantly reducing the space that your MacBook Pro or iPad normally uses by laying in their normal flat position. Elevate your MacBook Pro by placing it in the ARC stand and know that it will stay snug and safe in its place with its anti-slip rubber grips.

Dock it
Simply place your iPad in the specialized iPad slot and use it to view recipes, instructions, watch a video, as a digital easel, or any of the myriad other uses available to you while docked. When it is time to get down to work or play, place your Macbook Pro in the slot and it instantly transforms into a virtual slim desktop.

Improve Comfort
Greatly increase comfort while using your MacBook Pro or iPad for extended periods of time by placing it in the stand and using an external display, keyboard, mouse, and other peripherals.

ARC MacBook Pro and iPad stand releases on April 24th, 2012 exclusively through Apple.com. Price and availability will vary based on region. This information is intended for the U.S. and Canada regions only. Please consult your local Cooler Master Representative for more information. Click here for more details.

There are probably a lot of laptops and tablets this product would work with. However, not every laptop will have the same width (thickness) dimensions of the Mac Book Pro line and the same goes for other brands of tablets with respect to the iPad (gen 1, 2 and 3 all have different dimensions).

When you look at this Coolermaster product its also seems as if a first gen iPad would not fit in the tablet slot or would not fit well without some force. I really doubt an HP Touchpad would fit in the tablet slot so their marketing target seems reasonable if they specify the models.

Still its not much to look at IMO. They better not charge a lot (because there's not much to it) but they probably will,….

***edit***

Never mind, looking at the pic with the Mac Book Pro it seems that the tablet slot is fairly big and would probably fit just about any tablet on the market (even with protective cases). Still the laptop slot will likely have tighter tolerances to keep a Mac Book Pro firmly upright so there are probably a lot of generic laptops that wont fit.
