USB 3.0 in case

Hi all!
I saw a case which had inside two usb 3.0. Can i use them when i connect to the motherboard?
Or do i need a usb 3.0 compatible motherboard to take full advantage?

If you want USB 3.0 speeds you need a board that supports it,you can connect the case headers to USB 2.0 ports as well

yes you need a usb3 mobo, and usb3 external headers since they are not the same as the old usb2 headers, this means old cases with front usb will be usb2

USB 3.0 connectors from the front panel need an adapter to connect to 2.0 slots on the mobo. This makes the ports only ruin at 2.0 speeds.
